remember a few years ago at the edmonton motor show 03 there was a lancer that EZ made to look like an EVO7/8 .... it has the front end and hood and they claimed it to be the real thing ... I think it was white though

Asian guy? Ralliart engine? This is what makes it so hard to talk about anything on the internet. Go back and read the beginning of this thread to find out the origin of the eastern canadian evo, and trust me - unless the driver had some MAJOR michael jackson style surgery, he sure as hell isn't asian.
The car is the genuine article - if you're wondering why the owner doesn't come out and show it off to prove it, the response this thread has gotten should be a good clue. |

if it was made up to look like a EVO y did they fail to change out the grill for the PROPER evo front bumper, and headlights, instead of keeping the chrome grill?.

That one was for sale back in the summer from the same dealership in BC. It came back up do to some glitch, atleast that's what the guy from the dealership said. The story was they were getting this Evo 8 (Canada registered) on a trade in. The dealership put this car up for sale for much more than what they were giving the guy on a trade in. Once the guy found out he backed out of the trade and was going to sell it privately. So yeah it seems like this was one of the registered Evo 8s in Canada. If you call the dealership they say they will give your number to the owner if you are interested. So anyone who is interested, give your number, maybe worth the try.:dunno: |
