Today in the mail I recieved a letter from Quinn Security stating that in a draw I entered @ powerama I am the 2nd place grand prize winner. It says that I win the Pro300 car security system and all I have to pay is the installation fee of $99 + gst.
Sounds to me like a great marketing gimmick?
I ask because 2 years ago my sister "won" this exact same package, and conveniently two other buddies @ the show that I went with also were 2nd place grand prize winners... WOW THATS LUCKY. |

j, I won that last year...and so did my g/f. Its a Basic alarm. My friend got that installed in his 84 Supra. Its just got a single shock sensor. I think he added an extra sensor, aswell as some window sensors. He got it all done for like $250-ish
Its a good deal for the price, but its still a basic one-way alarm syst. Plus they give away tons of those things... They will ding you on the extras. |
