Is there a method to send ctrl+alt+del if the "novice" computer is locked?

VNC and possibly other remote desktop programs offer this, but for windows not sure how to access this command.

It should be CTRL+ALT+END

You can cheat too, close the window on the top and reconnect, that will force the screen to prompt for username and password and log you back in. Which isn't as good as CTRL-ALT-END, unless you come across a PC with no END key......which I've had happen.
