Prudz_lude
i swear if somebody felt like it they could go into this forum, get your picture, your height and weight, when and where you work, what gym you go to, and become a full out stalker. hahahaha i just think its funny how much everyone reveals about themselves in this section of the forum. I didnt mind putting a picture but i think some of these threads are a little crazy.

just my opinion.

gfk.
i'm fucking stalking you.

p.s only a stalker would ever think of stalking thanks for making 780 unsafe

ADAM!

ChromeDragon
Wouldn't be that hard for them to find that shit whether you posted it on here or not. I wanted to find out some more info about one person after an incident and 10 minutes of searching brought up two phone numbers, an address, license plate, age, name, family names and a whole shitload more.

This interweb is an amazing, freaky thing.

Prudz_lude
yah pretty crazy. Still i think all the funny threads help out. GFK - SCOTT

Better watch out for those homosexual stalkers right?
Cuz so many women reveal personal information on a 95% male car forum.

russianrocket21
if you think this is bad think about facebook - name, number, address, interests, hobbies, where you work, where you go to school.

now that's the ultimate stalking device right there.

Prudz_lude
^true, but facebook is locked to your friends. I guess anybody can stalk anybody in todays world.

bluSRT
Isnt there a big conspiracy theory deal about Facebook, where its believed that the government is collecting everyones info.

Thought I saw that one time.

:drama:

Prudz_lude
the government has all your info simply through 2 pieces of id everyone has. you sin card and your birth certificate. If both are up to date then they have everything they could ever want in comparison to facebook and more.

No no I understand that. I just recall a video clip or something about how the government is using facebook as a spy tool on people.

bluSRT
This is the clip I was thinking of..

http://www.albumoftheday.com/facebook/

Just put "facebook conspiracy" in Google and there are lots of sites.

Prudz_lude
crazyyyy thats actually crazy. i went and read the policy and its all there. haha kind of scary. I don't really think anybody ever reads internet agreements but the trading info to third party members is the scary part.

GOT BOOST
.......Looking for tinfoil hats to distribute to the paranoid.

Why use your real name when siging up for face book? You also have the choice on facebook to select which email addresses you want to add. You also have the choice to join and or start groups. You also have the choice as to post photo's up there. It is all about choice of putting your info up there or not.

Think about it...Information control starts with you. Why would you agree to something, or sign something that you have not read and understood?

I found it difficult to listen to as she sounded like a whiny 12 year old.

haha I fooled them! My birth certificate is in German!

dtjohnst
Her S's are annoying.

And does anyone really care if the government knows your top 10 favorite movies or *gasp* what you filed on last years tax return (ZOMG! I don't want the government to know!!!).

Your favorite book? Your address? C'mon people. What "conspiracy" is there here? Do you have a driver's licence? They know where you live. Did you register your car? They know where you drive. They can subpoena bank records if they ever want them and find more than just your credit card spending. They have your birthdate.

So they're trending you. ooooooh look out! God Forbid the CIA or CSIS find you on Facebook and offer you a job which you would have the right to turn down. Are they going to kidnap you in the middle of the night and force you to become a spy?

Paranoia at it's best.

Prudz_lude
  its not like i really care, i just think in a sense its sort of crazy if all that is true. I do agree with her sounding like a whinny 12 year old, It's pretty annoying.

I have friends in both CSIS and the CSE, all they do is trend you. Trends can let them know if you fit into some sort of societal norm of if you're a complete whackjob. Now you have the right to be a complete whackjob, but when a profiler identifies traits that a serial killer or terrorist bomber has, they can see who fits that and start looking for evidence.

There's nothing malicious in this information mining, unlike malware that tries to steal your identity. Even if the Jews and the Freemasons had joined to form some New World Order headed up by Majestic 12 or whatever theory you ascribe too, how does them mining your information affect anything?

That's what I don't get about these conspiracy theories. If people have nothing to hide, why care? If they do have something to hide, I'd like the authorities to know.

Which conclusion is that? That some people are paranoid the government is collecting their info? We never pointed fingers at anyone. If you don't care, fine. But obviously some people do or these theories wouldn't be out there. So....I think it's a pretty fair conclusion, so you can put your drama sign away.

Thanks for telling me what to do their big man.

I was clarifying that I really wasnt to concerned and truly could care less if they collect my info or not, so as others werent reading my post wong, in which it seemed like.

And obviously I wasnt the only one who read the posts like that, for Prudz said the same thing.

But he didn't tell anyone not to assume and toss up a drama sign. My point is..............not everything is about or directed at you. Perhaps you shouldn't take it so personally then when someone comments. Prudz stated his own opinion, which is why I made no comment to him. Had he told me not to assume as well, I would've told him the same thing.

Interesting though, you told me what to do, but were upset I told you. Nice double standard. Don't give if you can't take.

bluSRT
Oh, I dont take things personally on a forum from you or anyone else. Not to sure where I was upset but ok.

Yes and my point is that OBVIOUSLY the two of us thought the two of you were refering to us, or else we wouldnt have commented. SO we were clearing things up.

Its called clarification.

Perhaps you took it personally, hence the posts. Or maybe you are CLARIFYING things yourself.

Hi bluSRT,

If this was in response to me, I was not making reference to anyone in specific. It is more of a general comment. It is very easy for one to get wound up into something. The next time you go to sign up for something, read the disclosures. I believe MSN has a disclosure about distributing your info to third parties too.

I loved the post about "Jumping to conclusions" It reminded me about Office Space and the matt of "Jumping to Conclusions.

I was watching season 1 of lost and "The Colonel" is in the office working after taking his "secure" phone call when the boss walks over and says he's needs those TPS reports asap. I spit out my coke at the term "TPS reports". They should've hired Lumberg for that scene.
