i got inpatient had to post early car is still in van should be here shortly.. i have typed the known mods done below
Modifacations: Aftermarket Greddy t78 Single-Turbo Kit including Stainless-steel Exhaust Manifold & External Wastegate, Front-mount Intercooler kit. "FAST" Rear Spoiler, Rear EURO Tail lights(have stock in car), 17" Advan 3-spoke Alloys (front), 17" Enkei Racing Alloys (rear)still undecided wat wheels i want, HKS Hypermax Fully Adjustable Suspension, ALCON (GREX) Front Caliper & Rotor Brake-kit. A/M Engine Pulleys, A/M Fuel-pressure Regulator, A/M Stainless-steel Turbo-back Exhaust(just bought fujitsubo exhaust from allen), Greddy B.O.V., HKS Air Filter. HKS EVC Boost Controller, HKS Turbo Timer, Greddy Gauges: Boost (X2), Oil Temp, Oil Pressure, Exhaust Temp, Water Temp. Evolution Steering Wheel, Mazdaspeed Shift knob, A/M Pedals, Battery Re-located in rear..i am going to be taking off that crazy rear wing and replce it with stock or my buddys cf wing off his fd and give him stock one..
i got a few things alreaddy (c-west front bumper,apexi safc neo,apexi rsm, flush mount head lights. fujitsubo exhaust, cf hood, 5spd rx-8 shifter knob) front bumper and head light giving to me by my buddy sam with the 3rotor fd. also trying to find side skirts and rear bumper to match front bumper.
and now for the cons: The exterior has a pin-dent on the driver's/passenger's doors, has paint-fade on the RHR QTR panel. There is a piece missing off front lip spoiler. The interior is missing the rear floor carpet, glove box and rear seat. i got glove box put in b4 it left japan. but still no rear carpet and rear seats.. i might just oreder the cargo space from my work so it dont look retarded..
i am looking for wheels but dont know what i want yet... im selling the mismatch wheels so if ne one want to buy them pm me.. |

First of all sell your safc. Its garbage and you can't use it to tune the fd at all. You should get a power fc asap if it doesn't come with one otherwise I give you 1 hour before you blow it up. Also the hks evc; throw it out and get a good boost controller. I had one and spiked up to 20psi and blew my motor.
I'm also assuming that you have bigger injectors to run that turbo otherwise bye bye motor. Also make sure the turbo isn't blown when you pick up the car. I have a strange feeling that its toast.
Next match up the wheels so that you don't have 2 different wheels on the car; unless your going for the jdm looser look.
Then I would take it to the dyno and check the wideband to see how your tune is. By the way don't take it past 16psi on the stock map sensor because you are reaching the max boost on it (17psi). If you want to boost more than 17 psi you have to get a 3 bar map sensor and set it up (again you will need a power fc).

What's the fuel management? I don't see a PFC or aftermarket ECU system there.
I hope that SAFC isn't for this car, because that would be pretty worrisome.

I don't know about that. They still sell for a fair bit in Japan, so you won't be able to get them here for anywhere near as cheap as an FD.
I think it will be kinda like the GT-R. Sure there are lots of GTS-Ts around Edmonton, but there aren't nearly as many GT-Rs. Plus I think the MKIV TTs will be selling for a fair bit more $ than the GT-Rs. |

There are hundreds of thousands of all the cars so who cares. FD's, im stokked. it means i get to look at nicer cars on the roads compared to the shit boxes and huge dullies that flood our streets. More supra's the better. All of our cars can be found everywhere. the only thing that makes them original is how you do them up. Fuck i own a prelude. There are thousands of these around edmonton but none of them look at all like mine so i do not give a shit haha.

More FD's = good. I did rag on another JDM FD owner on another forum because he was being cheap, but I apologized because, hey, I remember how I would've done anything to get into a FD when I was younger.
So, live and let live! FD's are amazing machines and everyone should try to get into one at least once! |

But, at this point, I'm thinking I will have to sacrifice it. (I'll try 'simplified' first though...). I've never had a boost problem this stupid before (my secondary is perfect, but my primary is fucked, HOW is that possible??????)
I love tinkering with it though. If I fixed it, I'd just have to work on something else. :) |
