A short video of my IS300 - Click HERE for Original Thread

got bored last night and went out and shot some footage of my car .. youtube makes the video really dark ... I recommend turning the brightness up on your screen .. there are two version .. one with color correction and one without.. it's only about a minute long .. I think I'm going to clean up my car and then make a longer one later .. anyway .. here it is..

this one has no color correction..

that is sweet! great vid! I wanna do something like this too!

I have DVCam and some basic video editing software. If you don't mind me asking, what software are you using?

black5speed
I use final cut pro

Bince
That song sounds sweet what's it called?

and the video is actually so clear. Its awesome. What kind of camera were you using? like just a digital camcorder? is it like a really top end camcorder cuz that was such good quality.

black5speed
I can't remember the name of the song right now .. but it's massive attack .. from the album mezzanine ... I shot it in 720p HD with my panasonic AGHVX-200 .. it's a pretty good camera .. I haven't used it as much as I would have liked to lately .. but I think that's going to change

Bince
oh so you just used a digital camera? thats pretty nice for a camera. But then again cameras are pretty much becoming video and picture all-in-ones now.:p

Still man awesome vid. It turned out soo well.

Nice vid Spencer. The car looks great as always

EK9Hatch
Nice vid! I really like the editing, lighting and focusing effects.
The only thing, is once its over, it leaves me with the feeling it was just an intro. Seems like there should be more...

black5speed
Thanks for all the comments

Bince: it is a video camera .. it's in the prosumer range so it's pretty good .. I like it

EK9Hatch: .. I was just doing kind of a test shoot .. when I get my car all cleaned up I'll be going back out and shooting a longer video .. it should feel more complete then

Driven
Nice video

Is anyone else tempted to go out and buy up a bunch of surplus beta broadcast cameras now that pretty much every station has gone digital? They still have some fantastic quality.

Vid looks great Spencer. Why don't we ever see you out anymore?

ImporTuner
Wow nicely done, great video:thumbup:

black5speed
it would be awesome to pick up some old beta SP stuff .... except the cameras are huge .. the quality is nice though ....

I've just been busy this year .. I'll probably be going to the shows ... I don't come out to united cycle very often because I don't really know anyone there anymore .. I'm sure I'll drop by soon though

thanks for all the comments .. hopefuly I'll have another video up soonish

midnite
nicely done

Dude! I thought I was watching a commercial for Lexus on TV!

You should totally sell that to Lexus and have them use it!

Awesome!@

elvis
absolutely amazing, the music fits flawlessly and almost the entire vid looks like it was made professionally like in a commercial (^^^like he said^^^) some of the panning parts u could tell were like a tiny bit choppy but still WAY better than what i can do so i cant really comment on that lol u should seriously think about selling it to lexus, or getting a job thats video related (unless u already do, cause it seems like it lol)

that video is unbelivable

REFLUX
Fantastic video!

Why isn't there more!??!?!
Seriously, it's top notch and IMO right up there on professional.
The music seems to be building up to a climax...talk about blue car ballz

:blue: :blue:

black5speed
lol .. sorry ... the next one will be longer .. I promise
