| I like the body but I hate the dash on them. Why in the fuck do car makers that market their cars to tuners make the radios so fucking hard to replace. I mean the civic and the lancer are both geared to people who modify their cars (as well as others) yet they make them hard to modify, what fucking sense does that make. BTW I REALLY like the color on that body, it looks real sharp |

| thanks guys, i got the 5 speed, the paddle shift can not handle mods (turbo) which i plan on doing. And only the sun and sound package you cant change the head unit because its 6 disk, if you go without the sun and sound its just as easy as any other car |

Im very happy to hear that, as i have a customer with one that wants a different deck but he has that integrated bs in it. Is it just a different bezel that could be bought and swapped out? |

| out the door i paid $27800, which was the GTS with the sun and sound package. And i paid cash and no discount. They wouldnt budge on the price at all they pretty much said "if you dont buy someone else will" and they were right. they wouldnt even throw in lock nuts for my rims or take off the 400 finance fee even though i paid cash. But to be honest it was more then worth it i LOVE the car and it handles like its on rails and i get looks everywhere i go |

isnt there a law that prevents them from marking up prices from MSRP? i know theres one in the states to prevent gouging. then again, they can always register/insure it for a day and put it on the used lot for however much they want. |

That's why it's called the SUGGESTED price. They can jack it to whatever they want. The market will set the price if it doesn't sell.
Remember when the new Eclipses came out, what a jack. Especially Canadian dealerships. I was shocked at the markup Westside and Southside were charging. Insane!

I wouldnt really say they are jacked up. I admit they were kind of asshole about me paying a financing fee when i paid cash but over-all i think the car was worth what i paid for it. I love driving it and the amount of options it has is great. Its 1000 times what the old style lancers were so i dont really think its that bad. |

Yep your right on this one, mitsu loves to mark up on new models. I got the old rub and no tug from them when I bought my eclipse right when they were released. I probably would have saved near $5000 if I waited but damn I wanted it then lol.

The way they get around that is by adding dealer installed extras, like a "$3000" alarm system, and shit like that. |
