as title suggests :P
right now its a toss up between these two if I have to buy online
V-max (adjustable 75lb)
http://www.weightvest.com/Pages/75lbSpage.html
vs
X-vest (adjustable 84lb)
http://www.thexvest.com/
since I don't have time to work out, I want to find a way to work out while I work, something that will force my body to use more muscles, I've tried wrist and ankle weights they just plain suck, big bulky and always in the way, the heaviest item I'll lift at work is 20kg and that is beginning to feel real light so yeah.
If anyone has any previous experience with using weighted vests and which ones are good and which are bad it would be greatly appreciated. Right now I'm really leaning towards the v-max one as it looks alot more durable then the xvest but that might just be me. and at close to 400 bucks a piece after shipping and taxes I wanna make an informed decision before buy. |

IIRC they carry two different brands of weighted vests, I think the X vest is one of them. I'd head down and try each on before ordering anything online. Lucki's pricing is usually pretty good too. |

Never Gymless
Just reading your situation and I think you could really benefit from Ross Enamait's book Never Gymless. It's got a ton of great workouts that can be done at home and require little to no equipment. He has a few videos of his routines on that site, might be worth checking out.
Oh and if you want the book, you should be able to find a free download through a torrent site if you look hard enough. |
