looks good. low km's i miss my probe. until i get into my new car. lol definetly good cars though. looks real clean. good luck on the sale man.

GearHead
thanks, I am going to miss her, just too small with 2 teenagers in the back, and the wife and I up front.

Fazda
definelty, the rear seat doesn't offer much room. But i love the way they drive. they handle like they are on rails. i would like to find another first gen with a turbo.

ianboy88
anything wrong with it

GearHead
Nothing wrong, just my requirements have changed. I just did an oil change, she has been on synthetic oil since her first oil change.
Even the front window is good, I bet I just cursed myself for a rockchip. The only thing that could be of concern is the power sunroof slows down for the last inch or so as it is closing, I usually stop it as it hits the rail and then close it all the way.

Fazda
ya mine had the same issue with the sunroof over the last inch. i just gave her a little boost and it seemed to be ok.

darch.
Looks like a beautiful car. I know im new to this form(Funny its my first post) but I registered just to see if maybe I can buy your car off of you. Would you take 4000 for your car? Just leave me a message at pjdarch@hotmail.com or maybe in the mesage box maybe we can work something out. I know its below your asking price but its pretty much all the money I have with registration/and insurance without going into debt. Ive always wanted one and i've been waiting for the one good car (this would be my first car) and this seems like it could be the one. So yah just leave me a private message or you know email me. Thanks

Only till the tranny blows though

hasnt happened to me yet though ...

darch.
Cars running good. Ive installed a new air filter(its was pretty dirty) and gassed her up and she goes pretty good. Im pretty impressed with it and ive finally taken her out for the first time. Never driven stick before and I think ive gotten the hang of it. Thanks Brent:thumbup:

GearHead
I am glad you like it, stick is not that hard, and much more fun. Now to avoid all those speeding tickets.
Thanks again Phil

the manual trannys are not to bad in the probes. its the automatics u gotta watch out for.. when i sold mine it needed some work. but it had 260,000 on the original tranny. thats pretty decent milage.

short4stuff
yeah they are alright till you make any power (boost) Mine also has 230k on it, and works good, even after a good 20k of beating...
we'll see what happens once it gets supercharged!

Fazda
she'll blow forsure. lol but it will be worth it.. u will be rebuilding definetly. but beef it up a bit.

yeah the problem is there isn't too much aftermarket for the tranny...
if you go on probetalk.. there's some info but it's like no one has tried anything out for sure.
talk about gtx 323 gears... lsd's are expensive...

I dunno I'll worry about it when that day comes.
I like to see another tranny custom mounted under the hood that can handle some real power.
