Okay guys here's the situation:
I had to sell my Honda Fit and I managed to trade for a civic.
Now I am driving my summer ride and do not really need a nice civic like this for my winter car...I contiplated keeping it but it seems more logical to sell.
So this is it: a 1998 EK Civic Hatchback. It is purple with a near perfect exterior (NO rust) and its interior is in excellent condition as well.
*Manual 5 speed
*Lady Driven with ONE previous owner
*160 xxx KM
*CompuStar Alarm System/Car Starter
*keyless entry
*After market stereo and built-in sub box with one 10" subwoofer (built into spare tire area)
*comes with 2 sets of rims and tires (after market rims and stock wheels)
*comes with 2 sets of springs (coilovers and stock lowering springs)
*tinted windows
*no real engine mods except air intake
*new timing belt
*regular maintenance like oil changes kept up (had one less than a month ago)
*only one previous owner/no accidents
The previous owner will probably see this and vouch for the cleanliness of the car.
Asking $6800 obo
Will post picutres ASAP - If you have any questions at all do not hesitate to ask!! =) |

| I had this car inspected, it needs work. Not knocking the thread but just making people aware it needs work. :drama: |

| what does it need? |

The place he took it to for an inspection is super sketchy. I've had it looked into and nothing major was found.
The coil overs that are currently on the car arent the best and they bounce a lot but the stock ones are fine. The front right bearing is probably going to go in the next 50,000 km.
I will have these both fixed at no extra cost.
I also contacted the previous owner and he was shocked to hear that there were ANY problems with the car. I will see if he will post on here as well.
And you are knockin on my thread you already wasted a whole lot of my time. If you want a perfect car you better be willing to spend a lot more than $6000. You guys seem like really nice people but I'm not trying to rip anyone off so stop making it seem like i am! Its a HONDA they last practically forever at little to no expense. |

Not ragging on your thread, just making other potential buyers aware it needs some work so they are not suprised later.
Vince's Auto Care in sherwood park is far from shady! They do work for RCMP so I highly doubt the accusations you are making are valid in any way.
Again, sorry for wasting your time and my time as well. :dunno: |

There are no big problems with the car, and I'm not a scammer and will be honest with any small problem there may be-like I was with you... but thanks for scaring everyone, I appretiate it....
Anyway, the body is mint, the interior is in great shape and I will either knock off some money due to the driver side wheel bearing or have it fixed whatever the potential buyer would prefer.
I will also have it inspected after these fixes are made if need be.
Price Drop:
$6500 obo |

Hey guys, well i'm the previous owner of this car and it was a great car. It was never in any accidents and i was sure to make all the oil changes/car washes/ and paint touch-ups whenever it needed it. And also right before i sold/traded the car to honda_chick23 i had the brakes/timing belt and clutch all newly replaced. So she was right when she said that i was shocked when they said my car was no good. Needless to say that it's put on a few miles since i first bought it, but then again if it was perfectly brand new you wouldn't be offering $6,500 but $14,000 (minus depreciation). Personally i still love my civic, if it weren't for my wedding coming soon and my wife wanting us to get a 4 door, i'd still have it.
 good luck with the sale honda_chick23
you were fantastic to deal with. |
