Good score! I'm glad you decided on the oem kit and buying it from another luder is the way to go.
As for places to get it painted, try modern autobody or fx autobody (talk to ManHunter about this place). |

Just a suggestion, try either doing a search about bodywork/painting or posting a thread in the general section.
I'm unfamiliar with autobody shops in edmonton. I'd hate for you to go thru what 98Luder just went through. |

Well, looks like I'll be needing a body shop too. After a small incident this weekend, I scratched my side skirt on a friggin curb.
I came to close to the curb, hoped it and gouged the underside of my skirt. It's not too noticeable by looking at it but under closer inspection you can see it. Luckily, it didn't crack.
So, this fall I'll be getting my side skirt repaired (sanded, primed & painted), the other side skirt and front lip repainted.
ManHunter, what's the place that you go to, FX Autobody? |

| Ive called around, modern, special fx, and southern and its seems like Ill be paying around 1000. Southern said 750 to a 1000. Does this seem high for a kit??? |

Perhaps, since your going to paint the kit a different colour.
For the entire kit, I was thinking around $500, but that would be painting it the same colour.
Does that include removal and re-installation as well? |

It not on the car yet. So the pricing is just for the painting. Modern said around 250 for the install. Im not to good with that stuff so I may pay someone to install it for me. |

If I'm around and have the time, I can install it for you. It's actually really easy, except the rear skirt which is a SOB.
Check the toronto prelude club (www.hondaprelude.to) website and I have a written article on how to install the oem bodykit.
Just make sure you have all the hardware & some 3M double sided tape. |

| I got mine old WW RS kit painted and installed for 300 at black cherry customs. I've had my front fender and rust fixed there as well, perfect work. All of my referals have also been pleased with his work. The bad thing is they are booked till the end of June, but since it's just a lip kit maybe they can squeeze it in. They're in the phone book, ask for Steve and tell him Anthony referred you. |

| I had my spoiler painted and installed there, as well as a front bumper painted...I think I got that all for $500 or so. I agree with RX_Agent...good work done there |

| Thank you everyone. I will look into that place. I am missing some hardware such as screws and not sure what else. I think I have the clips though. And Darcy I did read you write up on installing it and im not sure if im going to attempt it. I did something once to my old lude and ended up busting something. And thanks for the offer once I get it painted and if you have some free time, I would pay you to install it. |
