The Good:
90' honda crx si
rio red paint
clean awesome interior
vents and some parts of trim are painted red
15" 195/50/15 konig next bronze rims with tires.
swapped in a sohc zc engine from hmotorsonline, has around 60,000kms on it.
body has around 190,000kms
cold air intake.
short throw shifter, black velvet shift boot with red stitching
eibach pro line lowering springs
kyb gr2 struts
awesome stereo (just ask)
alarm.
tinted windows
working sunroof.
winter steelies with tires on them
does not vibrate on the highway, very smooth ride.
windows have no cracks.
i have also done suspension work to her, new bushings, put in the springs and struts, new front crossmember, new brake pads and new rotors in the rear.
The Bad: very minor work needs to be done, in fact there is only 4 things that need to be done.
like i said last time, there is rust, and its showing through! but its minor rust, you may have to cut out and weld in new sheet metal. keep in mind its only in the 1/4 panels and bubble rust on the sunroof and thats it. i have seen new 1/4 panels on ebay for like 120$ so you could check that out. HOWEVER! there is no rust in the inner wheel wells!
The CV joints need to be done, doesnt effect steering, but i do hear a knocking sound when you turn tight (as if your doing a u-turn)
the driver's side bottom black plastic moulding came off and its busted (stupid STC bus ran over it) i know for a fact i can get one for cheap (120$) at a local junk yard.
there is also an exhaust leak, its just a gasket or something is not tightened down, like i said its all minor work.
overall:
overall i have kept this a clean car, it gets vacuumed every weekend, i have changed the oil every 3000Kms, the car is strong and runs great! goes like hell (unless there is some fat chick in there). lol. i really hate to see this go cause it does have sentimental value to me. i have invested over 4500$ into it for repairs and upgrades as well!
last time i said i wanted the car for 4500$ OBO, but now that its got some kms on it, and rust is showing through. i'm letting it go for 3000$ FIRM!!!! i am also willing to let it go for 2600$ FIRM with out the konig rims and tires!
i think this is a fair value for a crx, there is not really many left over!.
guys keep in mind that the car is testing waters and i WILL let you know if i get my line of credit or not on fri.! so keep your eyes peeled.
also if there is anything new i forgot to add in, i will add it later!

| i have done the painting myself. and i have gotten LOTS of great compliments from it. if you want it back to black, you can paint it back to black, they're not hard to paint at all. |

| well im sure you did a good job and as long as its not chipping off then its fine, cause when it starts to chip thats when it really looks bad. clean unpainted CRX dashes are hard to come by these days, as ive been looking for one to swap into my hatch....anyways i hope it goes to a good home, original minty CRX's are a rare breed as well! |

you guys have to realize that i STILL have to be accepted for a line of credit. and this info i wont know till friday! so IF i get the line of credit then i will sell the car, but IF i DONT get the line of credit then i'm sorry to say that i can not sell the car. its the only car i have.
hence why i wanted to say "testing waters" for a title.
i will also say that if someone buys this car, as a courtesy sell i will fill it with gas and do an oil change on it.
just as a "thank you" point of way. |

sorry i havent been able to respond lately, i have been really busy.
i did NOT get my line of credit from the bank. so i am sorry to say that the car is no longer for sale! :( i am really really sorry guys!
i didnt want to post it up for sale i just wanted to post it as "testing waters". it would of made more sense that way since i had an excuse to actually put "testing waters".
maybe during the next while i will try to go and apply for a line of credit again. but i am truly sorry bout everyone's inquirey. i didnt want anything bad coming to this. |
