whindshield tint is illegal but you can bet a 7 inch wide banner sticker on the top of you windshield as long as it doesn't obstruct your view in the car, how stupid is that. you cant have a 6 inch strip of thint at the top of your windshield that is somewhat transparent so you could see through, but a 7 inche strip of sollid color sticker is ok. stuopid goverment.
we should start a patision to have the rule changed to what they have in onterio, some side window tint(35 or higher) is ok and a strip of tint on the windshield is ok then I can tell the egotisicall RCMP in st.albert to stick it. |

Good luck with your petition. Everytime I recommend people write a letter to the government, I get flamed for it.
People don't seem to want it to change. The only reason I can see is that if it changed, what would they have left to use when they want to bitch about cops?
As for your comment about the RCMP......they didn't write the law, they're doing their job. Most cops disagree with half the laws they're enforcing, doesn't change the fact that they have to enforce it. |

spoken like some one who has never delt with the st.albert RCMP. trust me the ones in st.albert are some of the worst. I don't mind the edmonton police depertment, but it is like the st.albert rcmp are out to get everyone because they feel they have something to prove, but when you need them they are no where to be found. they tend to not care about alot exsept there own selves. |
