Alrighty, there has been suggestions for the mid month to be held on sunday june 17th. That date is flexible and very much weather dependent since the general consensus is that we hold a bbq.
Most large parks will probably be packed on that day, there might however be the option of using gateway park. Since it it the easiest accessible and it's not really a park per say and therefor not subject to hordes of edmontonians wanting to celebrate fathers day in the outdoors.
Now that the guideline is set, bring on the suggestions people. |

What: BBQ Lunch/Mid Month Social
Where: Gateway Information Center Parking Lot ( I will confirm shortly).
When: Saturday June 16, Sunday June 17 or Rain Out Date. 13:00 Hours
Who: Edmonton RX-7 Club, families, and friends.
Why: The hell of it.
I'm thinking a bring your own meat/buns event, as we cannot accurately estimate how many people will show up.
Rahul, possibility of the club buying the bevies?
Which day would be best for people, could we get some input?
Could someone donate the use of their BBQ, I can transport it if need be.
Any other suggestions? |

I have a bbq but was going to drive me car for a change.
and its starting to look like the sunday is a better day for me.

You know that Oil Derrik right smack dab between the QE2? They have a picnic area and a parking lot. I'm going to make a trip down there tomorrow and see if they have a problem with us using it. |

forecasted weather..on sunday
cloudy with 40% showers
in the event of rain out
head up qe 2 to south edmonton common..milestones. (accross from theater) |

if its still raining up there i would say its safe to say the bbq is off and a meeting at Milestones is the answer.
next question should be do we meet up at the gate way park first then go to Milestones? just incase others go there and have
not been looking at the forum |

| if its still raining i would say yes we shoudl still go to see if anyone is down at the park, i dont think it would be vary fair if we jsut let them fend for themselfs because they never chacked the forums |
