Last weekend the Edmonton fiero owners group trekd down to red deer to meet with the other owners groups from alberta at TR Transmissions. The guys that own this shop have the craziest fieros Ive EVER seen.
One is a 383 Stroker that puts out over 500HP before a 200 shot of NO2, and Propane Injection.. The car has a catted exhaust w/bypass for racing. It shoots flames out the pipe when it shifts! (its the purple/black one in the last 3 pics).
The other is a turbo caddy northstar v8 (300HP/300ft-tq/DOHC stock) with a T04H (I think) turbo mounted on it. He said it should be good for ~500HP before NO2 and Propane. He also said that it might be done for the next meet (in a few months).
Most of the other cars are stock.. ranging from the good old iron duke 4 banger (95HP, 120ft-tq) to 3.4L v6 (230HP, 250ft-tq) in the Indy Fiero. The beautiful blue fiero was a fairly stock 2.8 with NO2 and Propane Injection, the paint on this car was awsome. The pictures do not do it justice.
You will also probly notice the Fiero with an MR2 bodykit nose... and the duct tape that holds it on.. He had an unfortunate run in with one of west edmonton malls on/off ramps and its damaged pretty badly.. Unfortunate that it happened but its hard to avoid when your facia is 2" off the ground..
Another interesting car was one of the yellow ones (not mine :) ), he had corvette Tail lights mounted in a custom chunk of fibreglass. It looks sweet! Probly my next body mod when I have some cash flow, it totally suits the car.
Most of the other cars were fairly stock on the outside, besides taller wing stands, wheels/tires, lights and custom paint.. including mine unfortunatly :) (not for long tho eheh)
Edmonton had by far the largest fiero group.. 12 cars in total, and about 30 cars showed up in all.. The rest were either shop owned, from calgary or surrounding areas..
If you have any questions please let me know, Ill do my best to answer them!

| man some nice looking car's their... even the one with the mr2 front, if it wasn't duct taped on i think it would look pretty sweet... best car would be the black/purple one, that's the 383 one right?... also is the 383 the cadillac enginge swap? or is that a different one? i read once a long time ago that a cadillac (v8 i think) enginge would fit in their nice, just wondering if that is it |

There are 2 black/purple ones.. one has the 383, the other is the turbo northstar..The only diff between the 2 cars are the mirrors..
The caddy northstar is a 4.6L DOHC V8.. and it is a good fit.. but very expensive and the wiring is a pain in the ass! but imagine 300HP, 300ft/tq stock in an engine that revs to 7k :)

ahh the ones with the v8's are SICK.
Rear engine and RWD + 500hp, should be pretty close to lifting the front wheels off the ground...? |

I havent seen any slips or anything, but i overheard that he was having traction problems off the line and pulling high 10's. Im sure with a wheelie bar and some drag slicks, he'd get much lower :) Next time im down there, Ill ask him.
