So i have came to the realization that I'm going to get serious about importing a car but am having a tough decision to take the risk of going Rotary or sticking to something more dependable like a GTR.
Either way im looking for a summer ride, RWD, quick but reliable. I'm prepared to do my homework and to get my hands dirty with my ride but I don't want a set of wheels thats going to fall apart after a summer of driving.
I'm not planning on just throwing a bunch of money into the car then to bag the shit out of it....... im gonna try to stay to Stage 1 then Two, then Three, upgrades.
My price range is from 6-8 grand.
My intial interests was something along the lines of a '92 FD3S but will I just be getting myself into a whole lot of trouble.
Cheers
Thanks for the help Christian. |

8 grand you MIGHT be able to import an FD3S if you do it yourself and not through someone else.
No hopes of an 8 grand GTR unless you do it yourself but even then you may get a bit of a lemon. |

| if you look hard enough and did your homework you could find a gem but the chances become a lot lower.. you will probably have to bump up your price range by 2K to get one in good condition with little work to do on it.. |

| If your budget is 8000 dont buy an FD or a GTR, find something that fits that price range a little better, gtst comes to mind. Your not likly to find a GTR or FD worth buying that fit into your price range, and if you do the $ required to maintain them is going to blow your budget unless you have money outside your budget for maintenance. |
