So were the lugnuts too narrow and pulled through the stud holes or what? I can't see them all coming loose at the same time, finger tight or not.

Xtra_X
yeah wtf

GT35
on the rear drivers it looks like the bolts came right off, there was nothing left on the spindle. Maybe he tightened those too much. But I don't understand how they all could come off at the same time.

uncle ben
i say no lugs.

tho_chi

or just wasn't tightened enough?

kypraio
Did anyone else notice that he pulled the handbrake up? hahahahahhahaa :p

Xtra_X
I asked on the website and

quote:
JaMoto: Wrong size lugs. They felt tight when he torqued them down, but they really didn't have any holding power. I don't know the exact details of it, yet. Keep checking the dixie region to see if we get any updates on the story.

Man it's really sad to see that happen to such a nice car.

ChromeDragon
So he used lugs that were too wide of a pattern I guess? That makes sense I suppose.

SkiTLz
Never would have thought they'd all come off at once like that though.. That dudes got some wicked bad luck

WorkInProgress
