Anyway just cause your car is automatic, doesn't mean you cannot select gears. It simply changes gears for you, that's the automatic part.
If you want to accelearte, but not leave 1st gear within it's safe RPM range, leave it in 1. Good for towing.
If you wanna stay in SECOND gear, try to figure out what position your gear selector needs to be in. From there, the rest will make sense.
As for your last post...
It's a good idea to eat healthy, that way you'll always feel better! Save money, drive cautiously, and read lots. Apologize to your friend for the last thing you've disregarded, and give a loonie to a bum the next time you see one.
