Now i dont know much about automatic transmission fixxes
but this is what happens from time to time if i give a lot of gas she wont catch( revs really high really fast... same instance of a worn clutch in a standard transmission) then the weird thing is it will slowly catch onn and then finnaly it will catch after reving really high and drop down almost (same thing as a burnout almost... revs high then as your wheels catch you accelerate) and first thing i think of is torgue converter
but again i dunno much about automatic transmissions so i dont have a clue :confused:

Add some tranny fluid.

auto's have clutches too.. may be worn if the car is hitting power hard... most likely its tranny fluid is low tho it causes them to act funny
