I have been translating some of this using an online translator.
it looks to have alot of potential
it even mentions that way more engine possibilities are available.
it will no matter what be RWD, with a panhard bar setup (seems odd)
all four wheels will be independant and have Deformable Parallelogram setups with Coilovers.
4 wheel discs.
and the cool thing for big motor peeps! a limited release of 200 with Ford 5.0's!! ha thats awesome.!
Ford says there is a Niche for this market of smaller 4 seater RWD cars and they are shooting for it.
oh yeah, 6 speed manual or Automatic.
ford is eating up parts from its other brands to make this car a possibility with all Jaguar Drivetrain products and the Land rovers diesel engine as an option. |

If it does get released, I would suspect it would only be in the Euro market.

I like the idea, though. Sadly I don't think we'll ever seen any XR's again here in Canada. |

You know, the sad thing is is that everyone will be correct and with ford redisigning the focus in 2010 all we'll see is the GFX kit for it and no XR4
With Roush's history using the Merkur at times, you'd think they could make a hell of a limited run sports car or use Roush to get back into WRC along with Ford Racing. Such Ideas would really rock the tuner and race world for the domestic market
It may be though, that Ford just see's it as too risky. |
