so i got me a $115.00 ticket for large exaust. I got thinking about this though. As the cop said, you can not make your exaust any larger then it came from the factory. Now what if you had a car that came a 4 cylinder or even a v6 and some how you put a bigger motor in it. Or you took an n/a car and made it turbo. would it not be needed in both cases to push more exaust then what the factory originally installed?

I read the law from the cops book and it says something like the law is to aviod unessesary noise and to prevent flames shooting out.

Yeah this is a popular topic however after reading most of the other past posts, mine is different.

To resum up my last post.

I am assuming obviously if you have a v8 motor then you need a bigger exaust then what a small geo metro 3 cyclinder would need.

My understanding is the more air you push the better?

Are you sure you searched and read? Because I have explained this law until I'm blue in the face.

Having said that, apparently someone around here has some magic way of getting out of all these tickets, however they've never bothered to explain it.

Maybe you'll get lucky and they'll give you the secret.
