fd or silvia? - Click HERE for Original Thread

xdipsetx
for the longest time my fav car has been the fd rx-7.
for around 7500-8000 how much work (generally) would an rx-7 need? would it run?
and how much faster is an fd compared to an s13k?
would it be possible to get a 91 or 92 silvia k's with a body kit, wheels and exhaust for around 7500?
thanks

Do you have a decent job that pays a reasonable amount? Are you willing to spend your money on keeping the fd running? Do you have a second car for the fd's downtime? Do you know much about how rotory engines work and how to maintan them?

Stock for stock the fd is faster then s13

You could probily get a s13 with kit rims ect.. For around 7500

An FD at that price would have bad paint or body condition or have relatively high mileage.

A Silvia is more realistic with that budget, however Silvia's with a good modified look tend to be more expensive than $7500. The odd example might be affordable to that budget.
