I have a regular no name intake right now for my lude, an intake is an intake basically if its not CAI, Injen sells a CAI extension does anybody know if this would work if my main pipe if not from injen but the mandrel pipe for the main system is identical if not the exact same as my intake right now.
And what do you people think about that AEM bypass valve? That is suppose to protect CAI from water coming through? I read that the only way water would come into the engine is if the intake is submerged completely.
4th Gen. Lude Roll-out June 6-7 !!! :D |

Its not CAI. Its just a regular intake.
I was just wondering if i could attach the Injen Cold Air extension onto it seeing as how the INjen regular intake and the one i have on my car are basically the same.
And the INjen CAE just attached to the regular intake. |

You probably could, but I wouldn't waste my money on an Injen extension since your short ram right now isn't Injen. You can order in piping at 45 and 90 degree angles made specifically for customizing air intakes which is way cheaper, if you're interested in that come see me at autotoyz phase 4 on Wed or Fri........if you don't like that idea I can also get you the Injen extension for your short ram.

That's a pretty good price....I'd go for that instead of the extension. Is the Iceman a one piece intake for the Prelude? |

| Ya the same as the aem cai just not made of metal, which is suppose to be better for not conducting heat but i've drive a 5th gen lude with one on it and it hauled ass, the guy needed to get an aftermarket muffler just to compensate for the mass air flow. |
