I bought a set of purple Street Glow Gold series underbody neons today and I already got pulled over. The cop said damn that looks sweet and told my to get rid of the neon license plate and talk to highway patrol to see if they are legal or not. He said the new highway traffic act says anyhting emitting light is not legal, even if you can't see the bulb. Oh well this will probably happen alot I bet. Are the illegal?

| It's a $10 fix it ticket, I believe. Out here a cop pulled a guy over with his neons on and made him cut the wire on the spot ;) |

If its only a $10 ticket then I can deal with that. As for cutting the wire I would just take out the inline fuse. Thats how I am turning them on and off anyway cause I didn't have time to wire in a switch last night. |
