is it me? or does the "premium" sound systems in these vehicles suck the big one? heres my problem with it
1. when the moonroof is retracted all the way there is a very low vibrating sound that hurts the ears... anyone else have this problem?
2. the actual cd player sometimes out puts "fuzzy" music like you can still hear the song but its just covered by that fuzzy sound its annoying and it happens only sometimes and when it does happen it goes away after driving around for a bit?
3. does anyone else have the problem with the mids cutting out?
4. any one know how to bypass the system check up for the stock stereo, apparently if not done properly it could cause the car diagnostics to go outta wack, i'm annoyed to the point where I just wanna tear it out and install an after market double DIN unit and get some amps to power the speakers |

2. never got fuzzy out of my stock DD

4. for aftermarket decks just get the adapter thing from enfig.com get dash install kit as well. as the hole in your dash is odd |

the low thumping is cause u put the moonroff allll the way back
just go back to the biggest dot on the wheel thing and you should get rid of the noise:thumbup:
ps. the signal on my car is fucked
when i turn the signal light off, the click keeps going in a irregular and annoying as fuck way |

do you mean your turn signals? where you turn them on and turn it off real quickly but it still blinks 3 times? if thats so its the "comfort switch" you can remove it through the dealership or with vagcom.
as for the moonroof i guess that could be the problem i'll try driving it while its at the big dot.
I'm thinking the audio problems are a manufacturer defect? |

| set up a time at Norden and I will get the sound system sorted for you, there is a tech bulletin for the mk5's, as for the clicking sound we will have to take a peek. |
