Description : I have owned this truck for a couple of months now. I have no use for it anymore and hence why I am selling it. The truck is in decent shape overall. As you can tell in the photo's, it does have rust and dents here and there, and the front bumper could stand to be straightened out a bit. Engine is fine, except that the timing chain tensioner needs to be replaced (I have a brand new Nissan OEM one kicking around for it). It smokes the smallest amount of burnt oil on cold startup (after 5000kms of driving the oil level didn't change). The transmission sometimes grinds 2nd gear on up/down shifts (when warm), and 4th sometimes grinds when upshifting. I changed the transmission gear oil with the correct weight specified by Nissan, but it didn't have much of an effect on the grinding. Also needs a new speedo cable (speedo doesn't work). Final little thing is also needs a right turn signal assembly.
The tires have about 40% of their tread left, and the truck rides incredibley smooth (guy I knew at Kal-Tire balanced the rims/tires for me). Includes a Panasonic deck and has a sub box with 2 old-school Alpine 10's behind the rear seat. Also has brand new rear brake shoes with all of the springs/clips replaced. It makes good power, and is the perfect truck for hauling crap around with. I drove it for over 2 months straight and had no issues with it except for the starter going on me (which I replaced with a brand new not rebuilt 3 year warranty model from Cambodian Tire). Make me an offer I can't refuse on this truck, I just need it gone!
