Hey there,
I am looking to buy a turbo, off of an 1989 Turbo All-Wheel-Drive Toyota Celica.
Here's the deal,
I already have the engine rebuilt, with a busted turbo and exhaust manifold as a result of years of abuse without a turbo timer. I purchased a new manifold to bolt up to the original turbo IF I could find one.
That's the problem, I am having a ridiculous time trying to find something original, and I have no idea what would bolt onto the original manifold if there is something available.
I phoned around and got a few quotes on upgraded turbos, but this car isn't going for high HP, it's for my father who just wants the original power it had or just slightly higher, nothing more (so a Greddy $5K + kit isn't something I am looking for).
If anyone has a turbo, or any ideas on what would be possible with this current setup, please drop me a line.
