I dont know the year, or km on this thing. Its red, an mkI and supercharged.. I saw it on my way home today from the callingwood safeway...
Its parked near the crosswalk by "tanglewood" on 178th street...
Thought you guys might like to know incase you know someone who wanted one or needed a parts car yourself :)

I just came back from checking it out. Gave the owner a call. He said it is an 89. 100,000km's on the Jspec engine. 220,000km's on the body. He is asking 6500.00$. I don't know, but I think that is a little too high. What do you think? I wonder what is a fair offer for that car. The body is in a little rough shape, especially in the back end were rust and body damage is prevelant on both quarters. Nose clip is missing the spoiler under the bumper. Overall, the paint is really faded on certain panels. Makes me wonder if there was an accident previously.

Anyhow Heres the break down for anybody else who's interested..
1989 Red MR2, T-Tops, 15" aftermarket rims, Plastic rear window valence, has a little bit of rust on the edges, cracked windsheild, and as far as I could tell, there isnt any body damage.. the body panels looked smooth from the angles I checked..
I didnt get out of my car tho :)
Its on the right hand side in "Tanglewood" on 64th ave, and 178th southbound, straight across from block buster..

His hood is not black, but that is the car in the pictures. His price is pretty high, I think there would be no room to negotiate with him as he has set that price right up there. Thanks Spline for getting out the address to the board for everyone to see.

| ask him if he ever had his hood painted if he lies i have proof of pics of it see if the guy is honest what not he wouldn't even let me take it for a spin and i was a serious buyer i told him he said show me this $$$$ i was like when i drive it... |

| make sure you get recpits for the engine that is a high price with high km pick the car apart and get it inspected... i would say maybe 5000-5500 |

This MIGHT be the car that I know about, I'm not sure. The miscoloured front and rear bumpers are my clues that it might be the same car (and they're probably pretty good clues for YOU as to why you need to be careful about this car).
If you are interested, make sure you check out the frame and undercarriage very thoroughly. The car that I know was spun backwards at high speed into a light pole at the curve in front of Weber Motors. A lot of frame damage ensued.......
