Ok. here is the story, I was rear-ended in mid june. the next day i went to go get some estimates done, they all came back over $1000. so i go report it to the police. I called the insurance company, they referred me to a shop, where i booked an appointment. the appointment was yesterday and it came back to $600.
Is there a way to not do any repairs and remove the sticker? (it's only the paint cracked, the bumper and frame and all is fine. the $600 is paint as opposed to the other places which wanted to replace the bumper) |

I got one at my accident scene because AMA doesn't tow from an accident unless you have one.
I did the majority of the work myself and as soon as i had the rebar fitted in the front and the headlights I took the damage sticker off myself seeing as my car was now road worthy and 100% legal.
In my opinion, take it off. But just keep it handy just in case. As long as your rebar is on and your headlights are on and functional, you're good to go. |

head lights are of course functional because i was the one who got rear-ended, not the one doing the rear-ending. haha, it is still road worthy and drivable.. there is no frame damage or anything either, just the paint is chipped.
thanks for your reply |

Once reported, you only need the sticker to have repairs done if its over a grand. I know you said the est was $600, but it could go up once its taken apart.
So, if you're planing on fixing the car, keep the sticker. You can take it off the window, just throw in the glove box. |
