I am selling my 1991 Mitsubishi Pajero XR 2.5 Turbo Diesel. I am the first owner in canada with it, and I am only getting rid of it because I didn't know how much I would miss a truck when I got this. I need a truck to haul my quad etc...here are the specs of it:
1991 JDM Right hand drive Pajero 117,000km
-2.5 4D56 Turbo intercooled Diesel
-RARE 5.29 gears with rear LSD
-SUPER RARE 5-speed 4-door
-2.5" FUJITSUBO mandrel bent exhaust system, (sounds awesome)
-Super select 4wd system with - 2hi, 4hi, 4hiLOCKED, 4lo LOCKED
-it is a very cool 4wd system
-2"lift with "sway-a-way" torsion bars up front
-I just changed the timing belt, waterpump, all front engine seals, 3 accessory belts and lower rad hose 500km ago (1 week ago)
-new rear shocks (KYB MONOMAX) last winter
-new rear brakes 2 months ago (fronts still good)

Damn.... Very intrested, just wish I had the cash to spare. with that gearing what's the milage like? Sounds like it would make a better rock crawler than highway driver.
Ohhh for the quad issue.. just a trailer... I haul my 700 RMK and my neighbours quads behind my car :P |

well I miss a truck all together...the fact that i can just throw my shit in the back and not worry about staining any carpet.
this truck gets 32MPG in town and about the same on the highway...it does rev pretty high on the highway. it has 32" tires on it (265/75R16) and at 3100RPM its at about 113 GPS corrected...the speedometer reads 105km/h at that RPM.
it is not bad on the highway though...red line is 4500RPM so there is still some revs there if you gotta pass somebody.
im sure it would be a pretty good rock crawler. |

Sorry, but whats the 113GPS corrected mean?
Those RPM's aren't bad my old D50 2.3L TD pickup used to rev similar to that, the wife's neon is at 3200rpm at 110km/h |

113km/h GPS corrected means thats the true speed as to what my GPS says (100% accurate). the speedometer reads 105km/h because of the larger tires. |

Ahh I get it so speedo at 100km/h actual speed would be about 107-108km/h.. I normally use a known good speedo to do that.
Thanks |

| the speedo is fine...I have bigger tires so it throws the speedometer out. its not like its bad or anything. in town its such little difference its no big deal. |

Sorry, didn't mean to imply bad speedo, when I said known good speedo I ment another car in lead at set speed to compare to tell how much the tires make the speedo off.
GL with the sale though. |

Service.. almost any mechanic can. Getting parts, different story. I know Mistubishi Dealerships can get parts, for oil filters and such Alta Auto on 118ave and I think 150st can.
I dunno who the OP was geeting to do the work. |
