As my car becomes less and less streetable I'm starting to need a daily driver. I use this truck for winter, and figure if I'm going to drive a truck everyday I might as well get a new one. I've known this truck since new. Good workhorse or winter vehicle as I've used it. It is a white, extended cab, longbox, 4X4, auto, 6.5L turbo diesel. Never had the boost turned up, unmodified. I've never had a problem starting in the winter either, even when it doesn't get plugged in.

Pros:
- New factory longblock approximately 100k kms ago
- 4X4 works great
- New $1200 rubber this spring
- New front rotors and pads
- New axle
- AC is still cold
- Cruise control
- Diesel is awesome, can still find it for 78.9 if you look
- spray in box liner
- Rolling bed cover
- Smooth tranny, transfercase

Cons:
- Heater blower motor could be replaced, only has high and off settings, middle ones don't work so well
- Body shows it's 11 years of experience, could use a new tailgate
- Broke the wires off the front ABS modules while installing brakes, won't work till they're redone, but worked beforehand just fine.
- Signal flasher is shot (assuming), signal lights don't currently work.
- 350k kms on chassis

That's the best I can describe it at the moment.

Bump for a good truck

I have the exact same truck. When I had a problem with the signal lights it was just one broken wire (it was slightly too short from the factory) Had mine replaced under warrenty and they had to replace the whole lever assembly so it would have been pretty pricy otherwise. If it's the same problem it's a 15 minute fix. Only other problems I've had was a poor ground on the starter relay and the "penis valve" that engages the front diff when you put it into 4 by. I think it cost 300 to fix and took me about 3 hours to do because you have to splice a new wire from the front diff into the main harness coming off the transfer case

If you PM me and actually want a reply make sure your box isn't full.

I'll let it go for $3500 if I can sell it in time to put the money in with the downpayment on my new one.

does the truck have a trailer hitch with full box reciever or just the bumper hitch? My dad needs a trailer tower by the end of the weekend. does it have trailer brakes too?
