| B18 and K20 seem to be pretty popular swaps. I believe some other guy is doing an LS1 swap as well into his Civic. |

| If you don't know much, research the ever-popular B-Series swap. Very common, pretty affordable. |

| lol yeahh i dont think so.. thinking of maybe a B16A? anyone know how much one of those sells for |
|

B16 is hands down the most popular.....
tehre is also B18C1 and B18C5
K20AR if ur budget is pretty much limitless |

| yeah so whats the difference between the b18 and b16 engines? |
|
|
| SilviaDrifter |
B16 is 1.6 liters and i think 160 bhp B18c1 is 1.8 liter 180 bhp i think and B18C5 is the Integra Type R engine with makes 195-197 hp IIRC
but from what i have heard on honda tech B16 has the best flowing head out of all of them |

| cool sounds good so how much do u think the b16 normally sells for? i was thinking maybe 1000-1500? |
|
|
| SilviaDrifter |
| im sure u can pick up a B16 for 1200-1500 than of course labour after that to swap |

| Finding a B16a2 for under $2000 is still pretty rare, in all honesty your looking at around $3000 once the engine is installed if you lack the skill to get it done by your self. Just a heads up. |

| Don't buy from EZ, go to the source... JDM Source in calgary. It's worth it. Speedtech or Autodream will also give good deals on this stuff. Yeah, go to speedtech. |

| There have been more then a few stories about what happens to cars that get swaps done by EZ motor sports. Just the story about the one EG coupe that ended up having to go to PE tuning after to get put back together is enough to make anyone stay way in my opinion. If your willing to spend the money to get the swap done by quality people. I know someone that can help you for around a grand. Thats just for the engine install. Parts will be on top of that. |

I did a cheaper swap that was plug and play obd1 civic ZC 137hp DOHC and it's not bad and it's the least hassle $1000.
I saw in one place they had an antire front clip off a EG Sir for $3800 and everything forward of the fire wall was mint and it comes with everything and then some of what you need. |
