Could you give more details on the car? Stock? Turbo/NA? Cat? But that sounds like a symptom of having a rotary in your car.

ThaCrookShow
its a non turbo the only thing not stock on it is the 3 cats are taken out and i got a high flow cat instead... it wasnt runnign so rich originally.. and i cant seam to keep the rpms in a decent range...

So it's running rough as well? Is it hard to start? Have you checked the compression?

ThaCrookShow
it isnt hard to start at all.. and yeah the compression is fine on it but it idles at about 1500 rpm.. and just dumps gas....

Invalid Zero
Dumps gas huh? Put a turbo on it. Problem solved.

ThaCrookShow
i wish i had the skrilla for that..

red88.n/a.rx
get a new TPS (throttle position sensor) and I can almost guarantee your problem will be solved.

RotaryJunkie13B
to be honest take it to mazda and get them to reset shit and get them to tune the ecu back to the origanal state. thats what i did and got a new tps
