Since our club will only see success from the contributions of our members, I would like your input on what you would like to do this upcoming year.
I have listed a few ideas of some possible events to organize but your additional opinions would be greatly appreciated.
- Local cruises
- Out of town cruises (ie. Red Deer, Calgary, Jasper, Banff, Vancouver)
- Install days / workshops
- Performance tuning shop tours & information sessions
- Car shows
- Track days
- Driving School
- Show & shine's
- Camping trips on long weekends
- BBQ's
- Go-karting
- Dinner & movie night
- Playdium
- Charity events (ie. car washes, etc.)
- All other v8less events
If anyone would like to organize an event (doesn't have to be official) feel free to do so. It could be something as simple as meeting for dinner, checking out playdium or seeing a movie, and then go for a small cruise.

I dont know why I cant get it out of my head or maybe into my stomach but BBQ, BBQ BBQ BBQ BBQ MMMMmmmmmmm......... YUMMY!!!
oh and go-karting and what about paint balling,
Oh and camping or a bond fire in the woods complete with booze and the coors light girls!!!! |

If there are things that people want to do, like you've mentioned above, please feel free to post up an event yourself. I will gladly give anyone a hand in organizing such events.
As for the BBQ, I've put a hold on it since there is little interest from people tp venture to my place. If there is someone in town that would be interested in hosting this, then I'm game.
Right now, I'm going to talk this over with PE Tuning again and possibly combine it with a EPC Dyno & Install day, probably sometime in July.
Other stuff like meeting for dinner, checking out a movie, go-karting, going for a cruise, etc., just post a thread and see what kind of interest there is. I'm always up for doing stuff..... |

| The one thing to take advantage of right now is the weather and outdoors. A BBQ at hawrelak with lots of room to park all the cars together should be something you guys should think about doin. It was fun both times with dc5ab and Alberta Integras. :bigthumbup: |

This friday well get together and BBQ at Kinsmen park, because hawerlak and is often too busy and packed with hot chicks and their WWF boy friends that its crazy finding a spot and table.
So I propose this, this Saturday at Kinsmen Rec Center just before that Green Bridge into downtown. at 4:30 I know a quite place thats secluded with plenty of parking and decent area for volley ball, foot ball and stuff.
Oh and BYOF!!!!!!!!!!

Kinsmen park? Is this spelled correctly? What's the specific location or can I get some directions from say St. Albert?
Where is the meeting spot? Will it be at this Kinsmen Rec Centre?
4:30, that sounds kinda late or will this be more like a dinner BBQ?
What about a BBQ? Does this place have equipment or do we need to bring our own? If it's a BYOBBQ, then who has a portable one that they can bring? |

This place has its own BBQ facilites e.g. those rusted up samionila boxes.
Yes you can get there from St.Albert real easy.
Right before crossing the High Level Bridge take you first left go down that steep hill, dont go on the apartment side, stay left! once at the bottom where the lights are take a left into that parking lot it will say Kinsmen rec.
The BBQ will be in the back kind of under the highlever bridge sort of, but further away.
Give more info for those who need it. |

Nope downtown river valley
you cant miss it, as your driving over the high level bridge look down on your left you'll see a big building with red wording saying "KINSMEN"
thats where it is.
I'll post exact address and direction tonight or i'll call you guys up and let you know whats up. |

Ok UNIVERSALLY SUNDAY is the best day from what i've asked around
Nobody works and is resonable day for vegging out! So
THIS SUNDAY PPL BBQ AT KINSMEN!!!
If we have more than 5 people who will deffinitley show up then well go ahead with the plan. |

Anyways, if you guys wanna see something out of this club you guys have to come out and support it, and you can start by posting, or taking part in this next event. Yeah Darcy, that's the place. I still recommend Hawrelak park, it will give the club more exposure and maybe help recruit more members...........but that's just me :). Kinsmen is cool too. |

I guess what ever times good for everyones busy schedule.
Oh and this is just a BBQ not a meet just a way for us members to chillz out and relax.
But if you guys want to go to Hawlerlak i'm fine with that. Just make sure someone goes there early and reserves a table.
Again I was thinking around 4:30ish or earlier if you guys wanna. |
