I'm looking to rent a large, enclosed trailer for a week or two, for moving.
Who in Edmonton does this, and what kind of approximate costs am I looking at?
I want as bis as possible for a 3/4 ton pickup. |

Not sure on what size you need, but Uhaul rents some trailers.

Trailers Unlimited. Just of Ft Road and Yellow head.
I've rented from them a couple times. Trailers tend to be lighter than U-haul, more areo-dynamic, and generally in better shape.... BUT... they do cost a little more... I know a 5x12 is $40/day and I think a 6x12 is closer to $60/day I dunno bout the larger ones...

Biggest trailer they have is 8' wide x 6'6" high x 20' long - dunno if they rent those ones though.. they build and sell them.. but also rent them out. |

| I rented a nice enclosed trailer from Flamman rentals. There is one just off yellowhead and one out in Nisku. I rented a 16' for two days. It was 75 bucks for 24 hours. No deposit and you just need a credit card and away you go. These are very nice trailers super clean and have man doors on the side. I would try and work a deal if your going to rent one for a week or two. I don't know how big they have, but the biggest one I saw was 20'. 16' held a ton, just depends how well you pack it. I rented mine from the nisku location. |

| I might try there. I want the biggest trailer I can use, because we only have enough time to make one trip before our lease runs out. I want to play it safe. I'm starting to wonder if maybe getting a 3 or 5 ton body job might be a better idea. |

Depends how far you have to move.
With Trailers Unlimited they just wrote down the credit card #, didn't even swipe it.
If you're moving a fair distance and have access to a 3/4 ton anyhow... might be better than getting raped on km's.
The only prob with Trailers Unlimited is you have to bring the trailer back to Edmonton.
When I moved up here I had the trailers unlimited 14 or 16ft by 6.. I did everything in one load, towed it with a 1/2 ton loaded the bed under the canopy pretty good too.... |
