Go-carting during the Winter - Click HERE for Original Thread

Marximus
There's been some talk about regular go-carting outings during the cold months. Anyone interested and can suggest how/where to run the events?

I hope you mean inside Mark, I do not think they can run them outside. TOO COLD!!!
I would be game for it. The best way to set up something like that would be contacting an indoor go-kart place (FastTrack for example) and see what they have for group rates, figure out how many people want to join in, and maybe rent out the place. Then just set it up like a regular event.

Hanger at the municipal air port will be big enough =)
There is a group of computer geeks or orginization rent the hangar every year for their Quake tournament there and also I believe they host a rave parties there before..
Other than that I can't think of any larger indoor area for go-kart use

Fasttrack is sooo #### expensive and the tracks aren't all that great...
Membership is like &#36250 or something, one time is &#3620 for 10 minutes.
It's fun, but too limited in terms of what you can do.
Does anyone know what happend to Super Race world?. Are they still in business?. They had the best track, three lanes all the way around.

since i work at west ed, i'll go talk to the owner at FastTrack tomorrow.
instead of regular go-karting, we should have teams of 4 drivers and have an endurance race, much more fun!

TurboBlueNX
ow we're talking, good idea EG!
