Where to upgrade brakes? - Click HERE for Original Thread

the_fornicator
Hi all,

So I've been thinking that I want to upgrade my brakes and pads and here's the funny part: I'm not really too sure what I'm looking for. Heard stories about cross drilled rotors warping/cracking, etc. So I'm hoping there's a good place out there that'll help me find what I need.

I know i'm looking for an OEM replacement, maybe a touch larger, but I still want to be able to fit my factory rims on for winter. I did a search and will avoid the Hawk pads.

Are there any good places out there that'll help me find what I want (i.e. lemme know what's out there for what price and have readily available parts)?

I'll be doing some searching in the meanwhile to educate myself as to what's what with brakes. I won't be back in town for another 2 weeks so I have time.

meanwhile, does anybody have any suggestions or reccomendations?

edit: does anybody know if I'll have to upgrade my brake lines or go with a particular kind of brake fluid? any informations along those lines would be great too.

Thanks in advance,
W
