| What is wrong with this city? I have only lived here for 3 years adn this city never ceases to amaze me! Not in a good way. Now there may not be any fireworks because the city can't find $90 000. This city wastes money like it is going out of style, now they can't find it for a national tradition. I guess the useless eyesore bat on 97, the joke upgrade on Churchhill square and city councils hourly raise are the reasons for this. |

yes it FRIGGIN sucks....oh wait I have an idea........lets just take that out of the police budget so the cops out there have even less man power and then they can really get hurt!!! :angry:

Yeah BIll Smith is a complete moron! When is the next election, can't wait to get his ass out. City council should all be thrown for a building aswell.
It might be a good idea to move to Calgary, the city is alot nicer and it will be better for your car aswell! |

To be fair though, the whole council, a bigger bunch of cry babies you will NEVER see.
I URGE everyone... call to complain. They have a department JUST for this type of thing. Every call/complaint is logged and passed on. How do you think some residential streets get plowed in the winter and others never do?

well if you were around that night, you would have seen the about 500+ people that were at the leg, everyone was having a great time, no violence, people were playing in the fountain everyone was singing the new molson canadian song, it was nuthin but good times.
Then around 1:30 guess who rolls in? COPS. All of a sudden there's 20 of them kicking everyone out, 6 of them standing on the steps telling everyone to leave, well where do you think everyone went?
the whole mob went over to whyte, right at, you guessed it, bar closing.
If the cops hadda just left well enough alone, the huge mob at the leg would never have made their way to whyte ave, and there would have never been a riot. |
