| Who runs synthetic gear oil in their tranny? Does anyone see it as a major advantage? Regular 80-95 weight is about $3-$4 a liter, and synthetic 75-90 weight is about $12 a liter. Is it worth it? |

I'm running BG Syncro.
I LOVE this stuff, I used Catrol Synthetic before this, and there is a noticable improvment in which the transmission goes into gear. |

| apparently the best shiz on the market is GM Syncromesh - Friction Modified, i'm planning on getting some, hopefully it'll get rid of the notchiness between gears |

BG Synchroshift blows GM Synchromesh out of the water, proven time and time again in the most extreme conditions - A DSM TRANNY. There is a reason we keep it in stock. :D |

| I have used AMSoil in my tranny. I don't find our trannies bad shifting but synthetic does help. Always use a heavy shift knob as well. |

I can't remember the name of this gear oil off the top of my head, but my friend who worked at Pat's Driveline/The Gear Center swares by it. This stuff is used in trannys that take well over 2000lb/ft of torque all day long and holds up beyond anything else. It's not cheap, but then again, neither are transmissions.

P.S. I'll try to find out the name of it tomorrow. |

I use GM Syncromesh.. If you go to the chevy farm they will over charge you for it.. I got mine from Canadian Tire, and it was CHEAP CHEAP.. I picked up 5 bottles for 3.99 each :)
probly cuz they couldnt find it in their price database.. and 3.99 was written on the outside of the container :)
Maybe they still have some? hahaha
Isnt it B&M Syncroshift?
Edit: Nope: http://www.bmracing.com/products/fluids_ma...StickShift.html
I heard this stuff is pretty good aswell..
