| Usually it's the car telling you there is a failure somewhere in the AWD system. Maybe a sensor or fuse. |

| First check would be turn the key to the on position, but not the start position. Let it run untill you hear the whirring underneath the car stop. That's the pump for the ATTESA system. Now start the car. If the 4WD light doesn't come on now, chances are the system just needs to be bled. Mine does this and just needs a bleeding. |

better yet
turn the ignition on and count the flashes from the red led under the rear shelf(thing your speakers are on). Then report to GTRC search and find Attessa codes. |

| Yep it's never a bad idea to check codes, but I found out my system needed to be bled, and the 4wd light would go off if I let the pump build up pressure before the car started. |
