Turbo Tuner - Click HERE for Original Thread

Hey guys I'm looking for a local shop that can install a Turbo kit with custom piping. I'm getting a kit put together by KSPEC but will need to get the piping built during install. Also a small bit of tunnign will be involved. Any good places in Edmonton? Or shoudl I just take it to the dealership?

Please make sure you don't get raped.

If you want some piping, PM me. If you want it custom built and welded together, talk to Supra_Devil. :)

Oh don't worry I'll be listing all the parts once they get a list together and have a price for it. KSPEC is a very well known Hyundai tuner place in Korea, that's why I went to them for help. I'm also checkign into other places but have yet to get a response.

I imagine it should be pretty close to this. This setup is from SFR

Stage 1 kit components
- IHI turbo (Super fast spool up time, no lag)
- Spark plugs NGK 9 (Will get myself)
- 2.5 bar MAP sensor
- 290cc Injectors
- Blow Off valve
- Turbo piping set (This will need to be made here)
- All necessary silicone hoses, vacumme hoses and clamps
- Intercooler
- Inline hose (Head->Turbo) and Outline hose (Turbo->Oilpan)
- Turbo Manifold
- Turbo diffusor and downpipe
- Clutch metal cover and pressure plate (opitonal for Manual tranny)
- ECU convertor and crank degress sensor (1.6 Alpha engine only)
- Remapped ECU

But yah looks like you and Supra-devil do Turbo installs. So all I might need is the ECU and other Hyundai required parts. I'd rather go Local then all the way from Korea.

290cc injectors will flow like 180-190whp top at a reasonable duty cycle.

Yah with the Stage 1 they claim about 160 - 180 WHP, Not bad from a 87 whp stock motor. But the new motors pump out about 103 whp now. God Loves a CVVT but not my walet.

I also wanted to know peoples thought on the two types of manifolds. What are the differances of both?

I would go for the cast manifold. It will be stronger. Equal length will flow better, but with that much power, it won't make a difference.

295cc tested at 255kPa is good for 59hp at 85%dc.

thats a nippon Denso inj. That works out to 236hp. i think he will be fine

Cool thanks guys/girls which ever your are, hehe. Should be easier to get it to fit if I go forged anyways. Also look more factory as well. Well there's my XMAS present this year,

Now as far as tuning this car adn the ECU, any programmers in Edmonton?
