| i have search but couldn't find the answer on here. i have read that flushing a auto tranny is bad thing "it loosen up particles in the transmission that can get stuck in the valve body of the transmission causing shifting problem" is that true or is it better to drain and fill 3 times in a row. |

| A proper flush is fine, Just make sure you change the filter after flushing. Some people change the filter before flushing without chaging it afterward. That's where the problem is. For a proper flush you should put a new filter in for the flush then change that as well after the flush. Same goes for a egine oil flush. |

| flush, its the only way to go. you can never drain the toqure converter full, unless you have an old gm. and the flushing station has filters on it. it basicly re conditions your fulid and removes anything cought in your pickup screen. i could post pictures of what gets cought in s tanny, it would make you sick |

I think the rule of "never flush an auto tranny" is comes from old domestics and it not valid with new cars.
I've flushed my tranny every other year, three time now, and havent had a problem with at all. I have 190,000km on my car.
Just make sure that the flushing fluid is filtered and the proper fluid for you car is used. |
