i bought a car a while back with a injen, performance air filter and now i think i need to clean it
any one know how to clean one of these things lol...

Go to Canadian Tire or any performance shop, and get a K&N re-charge kit. All it is, is special solution that cleans the filter.

i think the k&n kit should work, they sell them for like $10 at jbs. and i think parts source has them too.

i usually just use the water hose at the side of my house.....it works well and saves big money!!!!!!

k&n kit works awesome... i used it on many different types of filters too(apexi, ractive....yadda yadda) then yeah wash with the garden hose.
