First of all, i'm 22, and no I don't have a car yet because i havn't found the car i want yet, and when i do find one, i can't afford it. The Problem is that the car i want is a 1997 Nissan 240SX(has to be that year, i like the 2nd gen S-14s better than 1st gen) and its quite a rarity in Edmonton.
Second...
does anybody know of any Racetracks in or Around Edmonton that allow street legal cars on it... and aren't just Drag, or Oval?
Drag Racing takes very little skill IMO (just push the pedal 2 seconds before light turns green and shift)
as for Oval, wow, turning left is soo hard... |

I thought as you once did, now I'm hooked after trying it.
It's alittle bit more involved that your description :)
As for tracs, sadly there are none in E-town.
But there are plaenty of Auto -X guys n' gals here. I'm sure they'd be more than happy to let you know when and where the next event will be :) |

*cracks knuckles*
You were saying? :D
If it's that simple, why don't you step into the ring with us "no-minds" at Bud Park and show us all how simple it is.
Seriously, don't knock it until you try it. |

ouch..
IMO, watching drag racing is quite boring and takes little tallent.. however I'm sure drag racing it'self would be a lot of fun. Same with oval, sure it looks boring as hell, but get out there and turn left alot as fast as you can... mind you, I've never actually draged nor been on an oval..
AutoX however, is where it's at.. till the track's goin at least..

There's skill involved in all of those racing classes
i dont get why people think its incredibly easy to drag or oval...unless you can shift like a ninja and launch perfect everytime you shouldnt say drag has no skill involved. |
