Scratch removal. - Click HERE for Original Thread

What are you guys using to remove scratches off your rides. I was washing my truck last week and found a couple of light scratches and a couple of scuffs (thanks to some doors), lucky for me no dings just scuffs. I want to wax it after, but I want to get rid of the scratches first. Is there any kits that give you everything you need?

All I know is the Meguiar's products work for me, that's all I use. But I'm waiting for some other recommendations now too newtuner, lol!

There's a product at Walmart that's in an orange bottle called...
"NuFinish" I think or ScratchX that gets rid of that, also there's a scratch remover that works (apparently) on the "nano" level to get rid of the scratches. It was at the Sherwood Park Walmart but I can't speak for thje rest of them.

yea its Nufinish and its on sale at the clairview one right now...

someone keyed the word FUCK lightly into my passenger door and i used the meguirs stuff like 12 times on it and barely even lightened the scratch so this stuff really only works if the clear coat has been scratched if it gets through a layer of paint its not going to do much for you..

No product will remove scratches that are deeper than the clearcoat unfortunately.

That would work for a while, but you'll still see the scratch from different angles. But still looks better then without a polish

I saw that Nufinish stuff on tv and that's what made me think to ask. I figured Meguiars would work pretty good. Ya I wouldn't think anything in a bottle would fix a deep scratch into the paint. I don't think the scratches on my truck are that deep so i will give it a try. I guess if a guy had a real bad one he could always wet sand, but I would be pretty easy on it as you could mess things up real quick.
