We will be ending at Jacks and this time I think we'll run north towards Chicakoo (sp?) lake... My 540 will once again be bowing out as its attempt at becoming a deerslayer failed miserably so it will be at dean's (modern) then. I may run in the TR6. I have started the thread early this year so that hopefully we have 20-30 cars this year.

Drove the run yesterday. Budget 1 hour and 30 minutes for the drive. there is 100-200 feet of gravel over pavement in one section. I have use meeting/ streching midway on the run (like the castle last year) and a lake where the lot is gravel (if that is much of a concern [low speed]. If we are able to leave Terra Lossa By 3 we should be in Spruce Grove for 4:15 ish.
The Roads are great with some amazing views and mostly two lane the whole way. There are very few "transit sections" where we are on less interesting four lane roads.
They are predicting a partly sunny 19 degree day - lets hope it stays that way...

| last time i was on 170st there was still construction going on. my e30 is pretty low and I'd be scared to hit one of those sections thats torn up, dont feel like replacing an oil pan anytime soon. How is the road from the whitemud exit to the terra losa center?? |

If 170st concerns you take 178 off of whitemud and come into terra lossa from the back.
Make sure that if you are coming for the run, please fill up before you arrive at terra lossa.
The Run is 70kms form the edge of St. Albert to Jack's Drive Inn in Spruce Grove. Some of these roads are closing on Monday and will not look the same when re-opened. Those going on the run can expect to see some great scenery and many curvy roads

Just go slow its not that bad. The passat gets through fine (slowly) and its pan is lower then yours :eek:
I completly forgot about this thing and never went back to mcmurray and got the passat.. so i might not be coming now though. I really dont wanna drive a rusty jetta on the cruise.. :mad: |

The cruise was awesome. I think everyone broke into 3 groups and 2 of the groups got lost. Thanks to Jimmy with the M3 and the other guy with a cool looking Jetta (don't know his name) we weren't lost too badly.

lol yeah that was me. The pics in my sig was from over 2 years ago right after I bought the car. I changed the wheels, lowered, clear lights all around, painted trim and a few other things since then. I'm just too lazy to update my sig.
Next time though. I was going to give you shit for not washing your car but I didn't know who you were until I saw you drive off. :)
