I was stopped behind someone turning left on 150st and Stony, when a car flew up behind me and merged into the right lane. The woman following behind the car didn't brake, and smoked my rear end, and I flew into the truck infront of me. Heres some pics of the damage, any idea where i should take this for the damage estimates? hopefully its not written off, since i only payed $8900 for the car. I have Full coverage, with collision. The Middle tail lights are further away from the hatch, and the whole back bumper is pushed in, the exhaust is scraped, some lights are broken, and well you can see the rest. It seems to be running and driving fine, so thats a relief, but as you can see its a mess...
What a sad day :(, for such a clean car.
Please let me know your suggestions on where to take her.

2 new bumpers, hood, headlight, taillight.
Swindle a new hatch out of the deal too.
Hopefully there is no frame damage though, if there isn't it's an easy fix. |

| Just take it for a rip.. and let go of the steering wheel.. see if it drives straight. You'll need a 4 wheel alignment after all that work aswell.. well i'd recommend it anyhow. |

(Technically it's going to be a write off, because that bumper reinforcement is like $1000 for the tiny tiny piece, the bumper cover is close to that much, same for the rear one, the lights are close to $1000 etc etc if you go by 'shop' prices...). |

Like others have said, hopefully theres no frame damage, otherwise it doesn't look like it should take too much trouble to fix.

Thanks, yea... I took the hood off because it wouldn't latch, and was impairing my visability. I also noticed the rear wheel well is bent a little from the impact, and theirs quite a bit of damage where the intercooler mounts, and lots of supports that wont be able to be bent back. Theirs also broken bits of plastic from the intake etc everywhere :( which will add up to alot. Hopefully i get the rental car from my insurance company soon so i dont have to drive her around like this. I think it is a write off.. but we'll see soon enough i guess. I ripped a big hole in the floor mat, where my foot was planted when i got hit :blink: , so i plan on going to the docters tomorrow to get checked out about my neck, and leg. The girls cavalier behind me was really mashed, both air bags went off, her window was smashed and her whole front end was demolished. But ya, I'll take it to transform or reflections and post if i need anymore advice.

Whats the blue book on it? Im guessing around 5k. Cost 6k~ to fix it = write off. Sorry man but your getting blue book for it, and nothing for the mods unless you let the insurer know about mods before hand (if any).
Thats why its good to get an apprasial done on a clean car. Got one for my truck which is worth close to double blue book if It gets totalled.
