What exactly is he doing to keep it real??? And this isn't CarDomain. You don't need to tell him to check out your Hyundai.

Groundzero, you need to get that wheel gap problem fixed.

GroundZero
yea i know but since its a new platform there is hardly any parts available yet so im waiting for coil-overs

EDISKRAD EHT
That is not enough wheel for that car. Looks off. I don't even think lowering will help.

Fazda
what are they 17's or 18's, they dont look big enough. the stockers looked bigger IMO. but still a very nice ride. lol as for the accent what is that thing pusing 95 hp with those mods. definetly not diggin the wheels.

lol.. i agree.. i don't see how he's "keepin it real". :dunno:

Fazda
i dunno how u guys dont see how hes keeping it real. i mean its a real car right... takes real gay.. costs real money.. seems like he is keeping it pretty real to me.. just like eveyone else on this site.. Were all "Keeping it real" haha

eclipse.soul
yeah that car looks too freakin huge for those wheels.

GroundZero
they are 18's, same as stock wheels

Fazda
maybe its just the thin spokes. still a sweet car bro.

komptek
By Keeping it real I ment that he hasn't riced the hell out of the car like others. As for my Accent, might not be the fastest nor the most powerfullest, but it's mine and not riced. Maybe my ideal of real isn't yours, oh well.

GroundZero
thanks, yea it needs to be lowered which will happen when someone makes coil overs as for getting bigger rims...... no way in hell im putting 20's so lowering it will have to do

Why would you do that?

What tire place let you do that?

Your stock Diameter was 25.61" and now it is 23.92". That means your wheels are almost 1-3/4" overall diameter SMALLER!

diesekiel
That's not good, not good at all!

Fazda
far from good. lol

~30oZ~
Nice Lancer, but i wouldn't ever sit in yours....even if you got the blood out.;)

GroundZero
i didnt buy them retail i bought them for 1150 with 90% tread left on the tires im not too concerned i have seen pic of this car with same size rim and tire with coilovers and it looks just fine

(yes i said above coilovers are not in production yet but i have seen them on a project car)

You should have a 20 inch wheel for a 35 series tire...and a 19 inch wheel for a 40 series.

Know these simple facts help "keep it real"

i would have to say a 35 works fine for a 19" thats what i have on mine, and i figured a 40 on an 18 is good. 45 on a 17, i always thought thats how it went

It just depends on what the car came with stock. Having a 18 inch rim on his mitsu and having a 18 inch rim on a old EF civic will require 2 different size tires.

Since he had 18's stock with a 45 series tire, thats exact what his new tires should be. You want to keep the outside diameter the same as stock.
