The LimitedSlipDifferential in my '03 Mazdaspeed Protege is toast. The car is currently sitting at the dealership (Weber) with a quote for repairs of: $1269(parts) + $1200(labour-12hrs) + tax.
I've found a site (StreetUnit.com) where I can purchase a new LSD kit for considerably less money. Factor in delivery, duty, and US$ exchange for a total delivered cost of about $700.
Has anyone heard of/ordered from StreetUnit before?
Would anyone recommend a place to have the LSD installed? (I should be able to find someone who can do the job for less??) |
