Okay, here goes... new to the site so go easy.

The car
- 1987 Porsche 924S
- 105,000 kms
- Power windows / mirrors
- Removable lid (moonroof)
- 2.5 L
- Factory alarm

Maintenance and upgrades
- Kenwood MP3/Sirius Sat. deck3 (installed 2003)
- Rockford 4x6 speakers
- Performance Chip (Installed at Eurasia in 2002)
- New Pirelli P-6 tires at 97,000km
- Painted at Herbers in 2002 at 87,000km (apparently it was fading) also refinished the wheels at the same time.
- Distributor Cap/Rotor at 83000 in 2001
- Timing belt replaced at 66,000 km (Adjusted at around 90,000 in May 2005)
- Many others, I have full records of the previous work. All minor but necessary.

History is, I am the third owner. Bought it March 2006. It saw a bit of last winter before I smacked myself and put it in the garage. That was the only snow it touched. The first two owners were older gentlemen who used it as a summer toy only. You can see they took care of it by all the money they spent on it. I have done the routine stuff (fluids and filters - just changed the fuel filter too). I did just replace the drivers side headlight and had the hood repainted as a deer fell on my car. Literally, I was going pretty slow, so anyway it is good as new.

There is a catch, the water pump is slightly leaking, still drivable, but I had the intention of getting it done. It may fully go soon or the seal might stay intact for a while. Who knows, but I have the water pump as well as the accessory kits in hand (bought them at I&M import parts - great place for old porsche parts). There is a core charge you can get back, and if any of the kits are not opened they can be returned. Also, the power steering hose is seeping, and the windshield washer pump needs to be replaced.

This car is a dream to drive, it's actually the second one I've owned and I will miss it, but priorities are changing and I have a truck right now. I had advertised in the auto trader at $8,800, but that was before the pump. I will settle for $7,800 with the water pump and parts.

Thanks for looking. Here is a link to my pics.

nice car, good price, are you parting those wheels by any chance?

Rollin'
No, sorry. If I do that, it'll be really hard to sell. I don't have any alternates. Maybe I could put ski's.

Thanks for the quick look and the comment though. Please spread the word.

***NEW PRICE***

Thanks man. I am dropping my price to $7,500. I don't WANT to sell, I NEED to sell. With a new yard to landscape, that's a lot of fence boards.

Somebody must be in the market for one of these babies. After all, Porsche only made the 924S model for two years. It's got the 944's 2.5 L engine and drivetrain in it, and it's 300 lbs. lighter. Fun, Fun, Fun - and lot's of looks when you're in a clean, classic style model.
